Forward Deployed Engineer

We’re partnering with a technology consultancy looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who combines hands-on software engineering with consulting, technical leadership and strong stakeholder management. You’ll help clients turn complex challenges into practical solutions and identify where those solutions can create further value.
What you’ll do
- Design and build AI solutions and software that solve real business problems.
- Lead client workshops, shape requirements and translate ideas into clear delivery plans.
- Stay hands-on while providing technical direction and mentoring engineers.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships and identify opportunities to expand solutions and grow client engagements.
- Contribute to presales, solution scoping and technical discussions.
What you’ll bring
- Strong software engineering experience and practical experience creating AI solutions.
- Consulting experience, including technical leadership and stakeholder management.
- Confidence working with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong AWS experience and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- Commercial curiosity: you can spot an unmet need and help shape what comes next.
