Information Technology Project Manager

CDW is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee key network infrastructure initiatives involving Cisco and Extreme Networks technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience in large enterprise environments, with exposure to networking projects and the ability to coordinate technical teams, manage timelines, and ensure successful execution of planned cutovers.

This role is fully remote but requires alignment to Central time zone, with occasional weekend work during cutovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage network-related projects (Cisco and Extreme) from planning through execution and closeout.
• Partner with engineering teams to coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Facilitate meetings, track action items, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, and escalations with a proactive approach.
• Coordinate weekend or off-hours cutover activities with minimal business disruption.
• Ensure project documentation and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects (networking preferred).
• Strong understanding of enterprise network concepts (Cisco and/or Extreme exposure beneficial).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage competing priorities.
• Self-starter with strong accountability and ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to support weekend cutovers when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Experience in healthcare or other large, regulated enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.).
