Position:Program CoordinatorLocation: RemoteDuration:3 months with possible extensionTypical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is product management for digital direct stores. The team is currently enabling a net new program that will sell third party products and fulfill these products through a 3rd party supplier.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to providing additional support to drive and define the structure for this new program. The role will identify gaps in current processes and structure and build out this structure to work better. The role will send out status updates to various teams, ensure tasks are defined, timelines are met, and work is driven forwards by controlling and tracking various moving pieces. The role may also put together high-level decks that describe processes to supplement the current decks that exist.

o Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of project coordination and management for a large scale workstream. This person will be responsible for defining structure and organizing the project, in addition to defining and tracking the projects actions.

Candidate Requirements

Years of Experience Required: 6+ overall years of experience as a program coordinator, or 2+ years as a project/program manager.

• Degrees or certifications required: A Bachelor’s degree is required to be eligible for this role. Program/Project management certifications such as PMP or PMI would be nice to see but aren’t required.

Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain previous experience working on large scale programs and building out programs and managing processes end to end including working through blockers and defining action plans, especially with large scale programs. The below is also very nice to see:

1. Minimum 6 years’ experience with Program Organizational skills

2. Minimum 2 years’ experience with Project Planning and Tracking

3. Minimum 6 years’ experience with Strong analytical skills for interpreting data

Summary:

Responsible for providing support and expertise to project / program / resource managers

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees the time recording and resource demands made by project/program teams, ensuring that it is recorded in an accurate and meaningful way.

• Provide full range of project and resourcing support on selected projects and programs.

• Co-ordinate and maintain Management Information (MI) which is timely, accurate and communicated effectively.

• Ensure projects and programs operate within the defined Project Governance controls and meet the required recording standards.

• Provide financial and resource planning and management support to projects and programs.

• Planning as required in support of project and program governance (eg. Project plans; risk and issues logs, etc).

• Help develop and maintain resource model estimates and tracking / forecasting resource movements and spend.

• Co-ordinate, and where appropriate lead various forums / boards / meetings in support of project/program managers.

• Trains and supports colleagues on process and tools usage.

Education/Experience:
