Type: Fractional / Contract (with potential to transition in-house)

Hours: 4–6 hrs/week

Pay Band: $120–$160/hour, $2,000–$3,500 per month

The Role

We’re seeking a Brand & Creative Manager to own and evolve Bare Mum’s brand foundations and ensure they are expressed clearly, consistently, and thoughtfully across every touchpoint.

This role goes beyond creative execution. It is about brand stewardship – defining what Bare Mum stands for, how it shows up, and how that translates into campaign concepts and angles, as well as visual identity, messaging, and creative direction across digital, retail, and campaigns.

You will hold strategic ownership of brand partnerships and collaborations, ensuring they align with Bare Mum’s values, positioning, and long-term brand equity.

Initially fractional or contractual, this role has the potential to expand as the business grows.

You will work closely with the Founder, Content & Social Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, designers, agencies, and select brand partners to ensure the brand is protected, elevated, and scaled with intention.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve Bare Mum’s brand positioning, principles, and identity
  • Translate brand strategy into clear creative and communication frameworks
  • Define and maintain:
  • Brand guidelines and visual systems
  • Tone of voice and messaging hierarchy
  • Campaign narratives frameworks and brand storytelling principles
  • Set creative direction across:
  • Website and digital experience
  • Paid media creative
  • Campaigns and product launches
  • Retail and wholesale assets
  • Packaging and future ranges
  • Lead creative direction and provide clear creative briefs for:
  • Graphic designers
  • Creative and production agencies
  • Paid media and CRM partners
  • Partner with the Content & Social Manager to bring brand strategy to life through daily storytelling and narrative expression
  • Partner with the Growth Marketing Manager to ensure campaigns balance brand integrity and commercial goals
  • Review and approve creative assets to ensure brand consistency and quality
  • Act as brand steward for partnerships, ensuring all collaborations align with Bare Mum’s positioning, values, and visual identity
  • Provide brand approval and guardrails for partnerships before campaign or content execution
  • Act as a key decision-maker, reducing ambiguity, rework, and misalignment across teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–10+ years’ experience in brand, creative, or design-led marketing roles
  • Proven experience shaping and stewarding brands (not just executing assets)
  • Background in consumer brands (health, wellness, lifestyle preferred)
  • Strong understanding of how brand strategy translates into creative systems
  • Excellent visual judgement and copy sensibility
  • Experience working with agencies and freelance teams
  • Confident decision-maker with a collaborative, low-ego approach
  • Passion for women’s health, wellbeing, and purpose-led brands
