Description:
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React & Java. In this role, you will design and build modern, highly responsive frontend interfaces for our next-generation retail store applications. You will bridge the gap between user-facing web applications, ensuring seamless real-time transactions, offline resilience, and an intuitive checkout experience for store associates.
- Strong conceptual understanding of Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) to effectively collaborate with backend engineers and debug full-stack data flows.
- Hands-on experience working with Retail, checkout flows, pricing engines, inventory management, or order management systems (OMS).
- 3+ years of professional experience with React.js, React Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil).
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Optimize applications for low-latency performance, fast boot times, and robust offline capabilities to ensure zero downtime during network interruptions at checkout.
- Manage complex frontend application states for multi-item carts, discounts, promotions, tax calculations, and varied payment split flows.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, Product Managers, and Backend Engineers to translate retail business requirements into technical solutions.
