IDR is seeking a React Software Engineer. The role involves building solutions that accelerate clinical trial activation, focusing on UI/UX and application backend components supporting data flows, using technologies such as React, Typescript, Javascript, Python, REST API, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, and Cloud Run. This position combines hands-on development with collaboration within a technical team and may involve mentorship or technical guidance.
Position Overview for the React Software Engineer:
- Develop and maintain React-based applications, ensuring a clean UX interface and responsive design.
- Integrate frontend components with backend services using REST API endpoints and manage API documentation and open API.
- Work with cloud databases (Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL) and Python APIs to support application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, focusing on reducing latency and handling errors effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, performance stability, and adherence to project requirements.
Requirements for the React Software Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience coding applications in high-level languages, with in-depth knowledge of React and UI/UX development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Python, REST API development, and containerization (Docker/Podman).
- Experience working with GCP, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, and cloud deployment services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Jobs, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, code navigation, git workflows, and healthcare data practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deploy APIs in cloud environments, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize UI/backend interactions.

Compensation Range: $70 – $75/hour
