Adecco is partnering with a semiconductor manufacturer to hire a Senior Manager of Product Engineering. This is a high-impact, remote-based leadership opportunity for a bilingual professional fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and new product introduction.

About the Role

As a key technical leader, you will drive innovation, lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, and coordinate across global teams. You will interface with internal teams, suppliers, and top-tier semiconductor clients across Asia and the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI engineering projects from concept through full production launch
• Manage collaboration across internal teams, OEMs, and AVL suppliers
• Oversee mechanical design and review of high-complexity components including valves, ceramics, ESCs, gas boxes, and more
• Enhance manufacturability and reduce costs through continuous improvement
• Provide technical customer support including installation, fit/form/function analysis, and issue resolution
• Perform mechanical design using software such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, and Teamcenter
• Lead and mentor engineering team members

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Coating Engineering
• 10 or more years of experience in the semiconductor equipment or fab industry
• 5 or more years of advanced mechanical design experience including GD&T
• Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to support international business needs
• Experience working in cleanroom environments (Class 100 or Class 1000)
• Expertise in design of heaters, ESCs, ceramics, gas systems, and related assemblies
• Proficient with CAD and simulation tools (FEA/CFD)
• Willing to travel internationally up to 25 percent

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with companies such as AMAT, Lam Research, TSMC, Intel, UCT, or Micron
• Background in contract manufacturing or business development
• Engineering team management or technical leadership experience
