True North's New Headquarters and Job Growth
The business services firm True North has officially opened its new headquarters in East Liverpool, Ohio, marking a significant step in the city's revitalization. After a year-long partnership with JobsOhio and the city, the company has moved into its newly renovated space in the downtown BOSS building.
Revitalization Efforts and Economic Impact
This move is part of a broader effort to boost the local economy, supported by a $1.8 million project that included a $700,000 Vibrant Communities Grant from JobsOhio. This grant aims to spur economic growth in distressed communities by funding business relocations and revitalization projects. True North's investment is expected to bring new life to downtown East Liverpool, with the company planning to add 25 high-tech jobs by the end of 2028.
Company Background and Future Plans
Founded in 2012, True North specializes in accounting, medical billing, consulting, and revenue cycle management, serving clients across 43 states. Charles Bailey, owner and CEO, emphasized that the new headquarters represents a commitment to the community's future, highlighting the mutual benefits of business and community investment. JobsOhio's President and CEO, J.P. Nauseef, noted that Ohio is an ideal location for business growth and opportunity creation.
