Queen One Inc., a leading commerce technology company, is set to revolutionize Brooklyn's tech scene with its new headquarters at 25 Kent Ave. in Williamsburg. This move, supported by state tax credits, marks a significant investment in the local economy and tech industry.
A $10 Million Investment in Brooklyn's Future
With an investment exceeding $10 million, Queen One is transforming a 30,000-square-foot space into a hub for innovation and employment. The company plans to create 600 full-time tech jobs, spanning roles in artificial intelligence, software development, data science, sales, marketing, and partnerships.
State Support for Tech Growth
Governor Kathy Hochul highlighted the project as a testament to New York's appeal to next-gen tech companies. The state is backing Queen One's expansion with up to $6 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits, contingent on meeting job creation targets.
More Than Just an Office
Queen One's headquarters is designed to be a multifunctional space for collaboration, events, and community programs. Notably, the company will repurpose the space during weekends into a center for adults with autism, offering programs focused on connection and creativity.
A Landmark Location
25 Kent, managed by Global Holdings, is Brooklyn's first ground-up commercial development in over 40 years. This 500,000-square-foot, eight-story building is poised to become a beacon for creative and tech innovators in Williamsburg.
