About the Role
The Fullstack Software Engineer (Special Projects Team) at Aeroflow Health is a remote, full-time position designed for a technically skilled professional eager to work on high-impact, greenfield projects. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable fullstack applications and microservices within a cloud-native AWS environment. The engineer will utilize modern tools such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and AI-assisted coding workflows to accelerate development while ensuring high quality and maintainability. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that directly influence patient care and operational workflows. The engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, and other engineers to translate complex business challenges into pragmatic technical solutions, supporting the company’s mission to improve healthcare delivery through technology.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of fullstack engineering experience
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience with Next.js is a plus
- Proven track record of designing and building production-grade fullstack applications
- Understanding of microservices architecture, especially in serverless AWS environments
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and CloudFront
- Support and debugging experience in high-volume production systems
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and system/network administration
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) in responsible workflows
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable fullstack applications and microservices with long-term maintainability in mind
- Create modular, serverless microservices within a cloud-native AWS environment
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools responsibly to enhance development speed and quality
- Participate in ideation sessions, rapid prototyping, and technical solutioning for ambiguous business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, designers, product owners, and engineers to deliver impactful software solutions
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code supporting rapid iteration cycles
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with ownership and accountability
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and secure deployments
- Support infrastructure as code using tools like sst.dev, Pulumi, or Terraform
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize applications in high-volume production environments
- Stay current with emerging tools, AI workflows, and modern engineering practices, sharing best practices across teams
- Contribute to the development of reusable tooling, frameworks, and internal accelerators
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies as part of job responsibilities
