About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. UI Visualization Front End Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the next-generation data visualization framework for the Falcon Console, CrowdStrike’s flagship product. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging, data-driven visual experiences that enable users to identify patterns, analyze threats, and make informed decisions. Collaborating closely with product designers, UI engineers, and cross-disciplinary teams, you will help shape the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance visualization tools. This is an exciting opportunity for a front-end specialist passionate about working with large datasets, complex visualizations, and building intuitive user interfaces that enhance cybersecurity operations.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of D3.js, HTML5 Canvas, Vega-Lite, HighCharts, or amCharts for data visualization
  • Proficiency in web standards including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Ember CLI, Node.js, Webpack, and responsive UI development
  • Strong background in building scalable UI design systems using atomic design principles
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and delivery of data-intensive SaaS products
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design
  • Experience with internationalization (i18n) techniques and tools
  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as Ember, React, Angular, or Vue
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with front-end data mocking, data fetching, and state management libraries
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Prior experience or interest in cybersecurity is a plus
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and open-source contributions are advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the technical strategy for front-end data visualization architecture, prioritizing scalability, security, and performance
  • Design, develop, and maintain single-page applications with a focus on interactive data visualizations
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient codebases
  • Leverage technical expertise to guide the team on engineering best practices, product design, and technical decisions
  • Develop tools and utilities to enhance the development experience and streamline workflows
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure robustness
  • Collaborate with UX designers, QA engineers, product managers, and data/API engineers to deliver cohesive solutions
  • Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity challenges and front-end engineering trends to continuously improve skills and solutions
  • Advocate for UX consistency, accessibility, and user-centered design principles across projects
