Freelance Software Engineer

A freelance software developer is needed to build the Karuna App, a simple, chat-style mobile application intended for both Android and iOS platforms. The app should feature a clean, user-friendly interface and be developed for launch within the next 3 to 6 months. This role requires a developer with strong mobile app development expertise and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting. While this is initially a single project, there is potential for ongoing collaboration and, for the right candidate, the opportunity to evolve into a more strategic role such as CTO.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications for both Android and iOS
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin)
• Strong understanding of clean UI/UX design for chat-based applications
• Ability to integrate basic chatbot-style interaction features
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely
• Strong communication skills for clear and consistent collaboration
• Availability to complete the project within a 3–6 month timeline
• Openness to long-term collaboration and possible leadership responsibilities
