What the role looks like
This is a project management role covering low and medium voltage switchgear from award through closeout. You will review one-lines, submittals, bills of materials, and release schedules, and you will manage the full lifecycle of switchboards, panelboards, MCCs, distribution equipment, and medium voltage gear. You will coordinate directly with contractors, manufacturers, engineers, field teams, and internal leadership, and you will serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout each project. Projects range from straightforward distribution packages to highly technical gear projects exceeding a million dollars, spanning commercial, industrial, and military or government work.
What we are looking for
- 4 to 15+ years of switchgear project management, technical gear sales, or estimating experience within an electrical distribution environment
- Strong low and medium voltage and MCC experience
- Ability to read and interpret one-lines, specifications, and electrical drawings
- Experience managing large commercial, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or military projects preferred
- Eaton gear experience preferred, otherwise Square D, Siemens, or ABB
- Bidman experience is a plus
- Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
- Pacific time zone required, with preference for PST, MST, or CST locations
The opportunity
Base salary of $110,000 to $135,000+ depending on experience, with a quarterly bonus program targeting 10 to 15%+ in additional earnings. This role is fully remote.
