We’re supporting a great HR & Payroll services team that's looking for a Software Engineer to join their team and grow their career!
What makes you a good fit for the role?
- Experience in modern Microsoft tech stacks such as C# .NET, SQL Server, Blazor, Azure (Or multi-cloud)
- You’ve shipped software to production and can talk through what you built.
- You’re comfortable with APIs, SQL, testing and debugging.
- You take responsibility for your work and explain technical decisions clearly to engineers and people outside engineering.
- You're set up for, and comfortable in a remote work environment *
What you’ll do?
- Build, test and ship changes to production software.
- Work with APIs, distributed web applications and relational data.
- Investigate issues in live systems and weigh up different ways to solve them.
- Get to know the product and the problems it solves so you can make better decisions about what to build.
- You’ll use AI coding tools to explore unfamiliar code, debug problems and test ideas. If your first instinct when a coding agent says “all fixed” is to verify it, you’ll feel at home in this role
