We're supporting an established international technology business with the expansion of its software engineering team in Hungary. This is an opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation to work on varied development projects, collaborate with experienced engineers and continue building their expertise.
The role offers remote working from within Hungary, with occasional international travel.
The Role
You'll contribute to the design and development of software solutions, working across a variety of technical challenges. Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, maintaining and improving software applications.
- Writing clean, reliable and maintainable code.
- Supporting automation, testing and development processes.
- Working with modern engineering tools and technologies, including cloud-based systems.
- Exploring new approaches and technologies to improve existing solutions.
- Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to solve technical problems.
- Participating in team discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related subject.
- A strong analytical mindset and a genuine interest in software development.
- Experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, C# or Python.
- An understanding of object-oriented programming and fundamental software engineering principles.
- Good written and spoken English.
- A willingness to learn, take on new challenges and occasionally travel internationally.
