# iOS Engineer
## About the Role
Quora is seeking a talented iOS Engineer to help build and evolve Poe, an AI platform that brings together leading AI models in one place. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain the Poe iOS app while working closely with product and engineering teams to create new AI-driven user features and improve the mobile experience.
You will work within a small team of mobile engineers and have an opportunity to influence the iOS product roadmap, develop scalable mobile architecture, and create tools and infrastructure that enable rapid iteration. This role is well suited to a self-motivated iOS developer who enjoys mobile development, emerging technologies, and working in a fast-paced environment.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain the Poe iOS application as part of a small mobile engineering team.
* Develop new user-facing features and contribute to the Poe product roadmap.
* Create tools and infrastructure that support rapid development of the Poe mobile experience.
* Collaborate with the Poe product team and other engineers to improve the overall user experience.
* Own the software development lifecycle from timeline estimation through coding, testing, and release.
* Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
* Proactively identify issues and take ownership of solutions needed to unblock projects.
## Required Qualifications
* 2+ years of full-time experience in iOS development using Swift.
* Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and mobile technology trends.
* Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's coordination hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM Pacific Time.
* Strong attention to detail across development, including application performance and user interface quality.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and continuously learn.
* Self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

## Compensation & Benefits
**US Candidates:**
* Salary: **$128,193–$184,009 USD + equity + benefits**
**Canada Candidates:**
* Toronto and Vancouver: **$166,675–$191,397 CAD + equity + benefits**
* All other Canadian locations: **$155,564–$178,637 CAD + equity + benefits**
