Job Description

Posted on: September 16, 2025

We are a people-first growth consultancy dedicated to helping ambitious companies of all types scale globally. At Think & Grow, we move beyond traditional consulting by embedding ourselves with founders and leaders to provide the strategy, talent, and execution needed to build a lasting legacy. From go-to-market strategy to executive search, we provide the hands-on expertise and global network required to conquer new markets and achieve sustainable growth.

About the Role:

We are seeking multiple talented and self-motivated AI Agent Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of sophisticated AI agents and multi agent systems. You will work with Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, and a variety of external tools and data sources to build autonomous systems that can reason, plan, and execute tasks to achieve specific goals.

To be successful in the role, you'll be a strong software engineer with a deep passion for the rapidly evolving field of generative AI and a pragmatic approach to building robust, scalable, and reliable AI-powered products. As we are working with cutting edge technology, you will thrive in the turbulent, uncertain technological environment we are currently in. We will also be working with clients, so communication and collaboration is critical.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design & Architecture: Architect, design, and implement complex, multi-step agentic workflows that can interact with APIs, databases, and other digital environments.
  • Development: Build and maintain the core logic of AI agents using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or other custom solutions).
  • LLM Integration: Fine-tune, integrate and orchestrate multiple LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude 3, Gemini) to handle complex reasoning, planning, and task decomposition.
  • Tooling & Function Calling: Implement and manage a library of tools for agents, enabling them to take actions like searching the web, querying databases, or interacting with third-party services via APIs.
  • RAG Implementation: Develop and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, utilising vector/graph databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Neo4j) to provide agents with access to proprietary knowledge.
  • Evaluation & Testing: Create robust frameworks for evaluating agent performance, accuracy, and reliability. Implement rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure agents behave as expected and handle edge cases gracefully.
  • Trust, Safety, & Security: Ensure that all the AI agents have the appropriate guard rails with the right level of privileges and access to promote security and reliability.

Experience and/or qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
  • Demonstrated experience building applications on top of Large Language Models (LLMs) using APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
  • Solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including the fundamentals of LLMs, embeddings, and vector similarity search.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with agent-specific frameworks like LangGraph or Pydantic AI.
  • Experience with building or fine-tuning RAG systems and LLMs.
  • Familiarity with vector databases and their application.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of MLOps principles and tools for deploying and monitoring AI systems.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and optimisation techniques.
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology with a tangible impact.
  • A collaborative, innovative, and supportive work culture.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and learning.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
