Role Overview

We’re seeking for a dedicated Full Stack Senior Web Developer to lead the design and major implementation of GIS-powered web applications. You’ll get full insight of projects, end-to-end: from architecture and API design, through front-end development and deployment, in an environment fueled by ArcGIS, Microsoft and open-source technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Python (Django/DRF)
• Build dynamic front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Design spatial database schemas and optimize queries in PostgreSQL/PostGIS
• Integrate ESRI ArcGIS services, Maps SDK for JS, and Dojo components into web applications
• Collaborate with GIS analysts, project managers, and clients to define requirements and deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, GIS, or related field
• Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs with Django and Django REST Framework
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills; familiarity with MVVM/MVC patterns
• Experience with at least one front-end framework: React, Angular, or Vue
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL; PostGIS experience a plus
• Oracle/SQL Server experience also a plus
• Comfortable working on Linux and Windows servers with Apache or IIS

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Kendo UI components
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, Docker)
• Prior exposure to ESRI/ArcGIS Technologies & APIs (Maps SDK for JS, Dojo)
• Knowledge of vehicle-tracking IoT integrations and geofencing
