Data Platform Engineer – £60,000–£70,000 – Remote‑First

Role and Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering modern Azure/Fabric data platforms

• Running client workshops and shaping solution requirements

• Producing high‑quality HLD & LLD documentation

• Building and implementing data pipelines across SQL, cloud databases & APIs

• Contributing to major public sector data transformation projects

• Collaborating with cross‑functional Data & Analytics teams

Travel:

• Mostly remote

• Occasional visits to the South of England office

• Client site attendance only at key project stages

What You will Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or data platform delivery

• Consultancy or partner‑side experience

• Public sector exposure (highly beneficial)

• Strong Azure Data Services & Microsoft Fabric expertise

• High‑level T‑SQL skills

• Excellent communication in client‑facing environments

• Positive, proactive approach and eagerness to grow
