Senior Full Stack Developer

To accelerate that journey they’re hiring a Senior Full stack engineer with a decidedly backend focus. The role they’re looking for is a Senior Full Stack Developer who leans towards backend development to join their growing team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of accessibility tech—exploring new technologies, building scalable systems, and pushing boundaries in an evolving space. This is a hands-on role for someone excited by startup energy and ready to work across the stack—particularly on complex backend systems that power our platform. You'll collaborate closely with the Product Owner and team to assess their current architecture, suggest improvements, and contribute directly to the sprint roadmap.

Responsibilities

● Develop, maintain, and enhance their core product

● Drive improvements to existing frameworks and systems

● Build and scale backend infrastructure and APIs for the platform

● Participate actively in daily scrums and sprint planning meetings

● Explore new technologies and apply them to live projects

● Work cross-functionally with both frontend and backend developers

● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build efficient, reusable systems

● Lead on clean code practices and reduction of technical debt through regular code reviews

● Support our continuous integration and delivery practices

About You

● 6–8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong preference and skillset in backend development

● Deep experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL

● Strong grasp of Agile / Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD

● Experienced with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Agile team workflows

● Proficient in cloud environments – AWS and GCP

● Excellent problem-solving skills and a clean, structured coding style

● Proven ability to build, launch, and evolve software from early stages or from scratch

They’re a remote-first company, currently based across the UK, Netherlands, and Spain. This role operates primarily on CEST hours (UK+2) with flexibility around time blocks. You’ll also have access to meet the team in London for in-person collaboration with team members.

Basic salary £70-80,000 + benefitsFully remote (UK based)
