Mercor is hiring experienced legal professionals in Peru to support a short-term project focused on compiling legal and financial documents. This work plays a key role in enhancing AI capabilities by sourcing public information from trusted platforms. Ideal candidates bring domain expertise in litigation or corporate law and can operate independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

• Collect and organize publicly available Peruvian legal and financial documents according to detailed project guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness across all submitted materials.
• Adhere to structured documentation workflows that meet defined quality standards.
• Validate all sources to ensure data is obtained from verifiable public platforms.
• Work independently and collaborate asynchronously with the project manager to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of active legal practice experience in Peru.
• Background in litigation or corporate/transactional legal work.
• Familiarity with Peruvian legal and regulatory document sources.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured documentation processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality work within short timelines.

Role Details

• Part-time, project-based contract lasting approximately 2–3 weeks.
• Expected workload: 10–20 hours per week, depending on availability and project needs.
• Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible work hours.
• Compensation: $50–$80 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
• Contractor role through Mercor.
