1. About Our Client:
The organization supports the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Chief Information Officer by managing public-facing websites integral to the Web Content Management program. It operates within the government technology sector, addressing challenges related to effective content management and digital service delivery at a national scale.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Scrum Master will lead Agile processes within a dynamic data team, facilitating collaboration and workflow management to ensure efficient delivery of digital solutions. This role is crucial for maintaining project momentum, aligning stakeholder requirements, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
3. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain product backlogs with clear, prioritized, and actionable requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering, change management, and continuous delivery.
- Engage in daily operational activities to support project success and identify process improvements.
- Support user acceptance testing planning and execution.
- Contribute to monthly contractual deliverables.
- Coordinate with diverse team roles to support solution design and project execution.
4. Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
- Bachelor''s Degree.
- Experience as a functional lead across multiple Agile teams.
- Strong skills in translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Proven experience leading initiatives from concept through delivery.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Experience in process improvement, documentation, and workflow optimization.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, product owners, and customer experience members.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Salary range: $115,000 to $125,000.
