About The Role
As the Senior Director of Product Marketing for AI products, this role will oversee a team of product marketers responsible for driving the GTM strategy across the AI portfolio and product marketing for pricing & packaging. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution, the team will represent the product, showcase its value, and help it grow a strong user base.
This involves working with cross-functional teams across product, sales, marketing, pricing & packaging, brand, communications, legal, web strategy, creative, customer success, and more to execute remarkable launches and drive initial sales and adoption. This role reports to the VP of Product Marketing and works closely with the organization's leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop positioning, messaging, and GTM strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth
- Serve as a business leader for AI products, partnering with senior leadership across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align on strategic priorities and GTM motions
- Oversee product marketing for pricing, specifically focusing on seats & credits
- Build and lead a high-performing team of product marketers, fostering an inclusive culture and developing talent through coaching and mentorship
- Own the end-to-end launch strategy for Breeze products and features, from naming and positioning to sales enablement, customer communications, and post-launch optimization
- Develop data-driven strategies to drive product awareness, consideration, and adoption across three core segments and customer lifecycle stages
- Act as the executive voice and advocate for AI products internally and externally, presenting at key company events, conferences, and customer engagements
- Partner with Product to influence the product roadmap based on market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback
- Drive the creation of compelling showcase assets, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing content that communicate unique AI capabilities and drive demand
- Establish and track key metrics for product marketing success, using data to inform decision-making and drive performance retrospectives
- Manage program budgets to ensure high-impact investments that drive scale
- Regularly communicate performance, successes, and learnings to Marketing and executive leadership
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product marketing experience, including significant experience in AI, pricing, or emerging technology products
- Proven track record of leading and scaling product marketing teams
- Deep expertise in product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy with a history of delivering exceptional product launches from ideation to execution
- Willingness to get hands-on and engage deeply with the work
- Experience working closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success leaders to drive alignment and achieve business outcomes
- Compelling storytelling and customer-centric approach, able to translate complex technical capabilities into authentic, relatable value propositions
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple stakeholders across the organization to achieve outsized results
- Comfort presenting to executives and external audiences with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple company-wide priorities and work with multiple teams simultaneously
- A clear point of view on what great product marketing looks like and how to build integrated marketing strategies that span multiple channels
- An owner's mindset with high personal accountability - able to work independently while also building strong collaborative relationships
