AVP, Product Management – Small Business Banking

📍 Remote / US-based

We’re partnering with a digital-first bank continuing to scale out its small business banking offering, and they’re looking to bring in an AVP, Product Management to help drive that growth.

This is a high-ownership role sitting close to leadership, focused on building and evolving small business banking products, covering areas like business accounts, payments, and money movement.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and drive sections of the product roadmap for small business banking
• Work across engineering, design, and business teams to deliver products end-to-end
• Translate business goals and customer needs into clear product requirements, workflows, and features
• Prioritise features and releases to drive real business impact
• Lead and support product owners through the SDLC and agile delivery process
• Stay close to execution — including UAT, backlog management, and release cycles
• Leverage customer feedback and product metrics to continuously improve performance
• Present updates, roadmaps, and progress to senior stakeholders

What they’re looking for

• ~5+ years of product management experience (ideally in banking or fintech)
• Strong experience building digital banking products, ideally within:
• Small business / business banking
• Payments, deposits, or money movement
• Proven track record owning products end-to-end (strategy → delivery)
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, SDLC, and agile environments
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders
