  • Build and manage data ingestion pipelines that integrate information from databases, applications, APIs, files, and other internal and external data sources.
  • Develop data transformation processes to cleanse, standardize, validate, enrich, and consolidate data from multiple systems.
  • Create and optimize batch, near real-time, and scheduled data processing workflows to support reporting and analytical needs.
  • Implement data loading strategies, change tracking mechanisms, data reconciliation processes, and historical data management solutions.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and automated workflows to improve scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, profiling, validation, and quality assessments during project lifecycles.
  • Optimize data integration performance through query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and workflow enhancements.
  • Monitor production data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure reliable data delivery.
  • Collaborate with cloud and data engineering teams to support migration and modernization initiatives across cloud platforms.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment planning, and production support activities.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, security, quality, compliance, and audit requirements throughout the data lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and supporting enterprise ETL/Data Integration solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL and data integration platforms.
  • Advanced SQL development and database programming skills across relational database environments.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data architecture principles.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex data transformation and integration workflows.
  • Knowledge of incremental data processing, historical data management, and data synchronization techniques.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data integration and data platform technologies.
  • Familiarity with structured and semi-structured data formats and large-scale data processing environments.
  • Scripting and automation experience using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Shell, or similar languages.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration, scheduling, and automated deployment practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern cloud data warehouses and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of distributed data processing and large-scale data engineering technologies.
  • Experience with data quality, master data management, and governance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with streaming and event-driven data architectures.
  • Experience developing reusable, metadata-driven integration frameworks.
  • Understanding of modern data architecture approaches, including data lakes and lakehouse environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation for data engineering solutions.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting platforms supporting downstream analytics.
  • Knowledge of data lineage, cataloging, compliance, and governance best practices.
  • Relevant cloud, data engineering, or ETL platform certifications are considered an advantage
