We’re hiring a Senior Product Owner to own end-to-end product execution and delivery discipline. This is a tactical, execution-focused role for someone who can translate product strategy into developer-ready Jira work and maximize value delivered sprint after sprint.

You will be the single source of truth for your team’s work, owning the backlog, leading a strong Agile cadence, and ensuring predictable delivery across web and mobile.

The Mission

Bring clarity, speed, and predictability to product delivery by:

  • Turning business requirements into high-quality Epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
  • Running a strong sprint cadence and driving accountability
  • Reducing rework, reducing cycle time, and improving sprint predictability
  • Owning Jira as the source of truth, workflows, dashboards, releases, reporting

What You’ll Own1) Backlog ownership and requirements clarity

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, keep the team focused on highest-value work
  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed, actionable user stories with testable acceptance criteria
  • Capture edge cases, failure states, and clear “what done means”

2) Agile execution and delivery discipline

  • Lead grooming, sprint planning, daily follow-ups, sprint reviews, and retros
  • Drive dependencies and unblock engineers fast, across backend, web, iOS, Android, DevOps
  • Enforce Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Protect sprint scope, manage change requests, enforce tradeoffs

3) Jira ownership

  • Workflows, boards, components, priorities, versions/releases, dashboards
  • Weekly reporting and visibility into progress, blockers, and next sprint readiness

4) Release management and quality

  • Coordinate releases across Web, iOS, Android, including versioning and release notes
  • Own release readiness checklist, staging readiness, smoke testing coordination
  • Coordinate UAT for major features, validate readiness, accept stories as done

5) Product documentation and decision log

  • Maintain lightweight PRDs/feature briefs, a decision log, and onboarding docs
  • Ensure specs and Jira stay aligned, one reliable reference

6) Analytics instrumentation requirements

  • Define tracking requirements for key flows and ensure they are included in acceptance criteria when relevant
  • Work with engineers to confirm instrumentation is implemented consistently

7) Customer feedback loop

  • Own intake and triage for customer and seller feedback
  • Convert recurring issues into prioritized fixes, bugs, and improvements
  • Run a weekly “top issues” review and drive closure visibility

What Success Looks Like (measurable)

  • Cycle time goes down (created to done)
  • Rework goes down (clearer requirements, fewer misunderstandings)
  • Sprint predictability improves (commit vs delivered)
  • Releases become smoother, fewer production issues
  • Jira becomes trusted, clean, and scalable
  • Product decisions and behavior are documented clearly
  • Feedback loop turns support pain into shipped fixes
  • Key flows have proper tracking so we can iterate with data

Must-have

  • 5+ years in Product Owner, Delivery, Product Ops, Technical PM roles in software teams
  • Strong user story writing, acceptance criteria, edge case thinking
  • Hands-on Jira mastery, workflows, dashboards, releases/versions, not just user-level
  • Proven delivery ownership, you improved throughput, predictability, or quality in past roles
  • Technical fluency, comfortable discussing APIs, dependencies, tradeoffs with engineers
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and without an Engineering Manager
