Mobile developer iOS and Android (Ref:5vDUk)

We are looking for our client, an IT Services global leader providing physical security operating system designed for public and private collaboration, a skilled Mobile Developer to design and build a Smart Installer mobile application that enables secure configuration and management of embedded smart devices.

Objectives

To design, develop, and deploy a modern, secure Smart Installer mobile application that ensures smooth configuration and management of smart edge devices in professional environments.

The app requires expertise in Bluetooth integration, cross-platform stability, and adherence to security and usability principles. The primary goal is to deliver a mobile app in LAN-only mode as a secure and user-friendly companion for professional environments. This role involves close collaboration with embedded and backend teams and aligning with Axon's design guidelines.

What you would do & responsibilities

• Integrate and manage Bluetooth stack communication on both iOS and Android (BLE pairing, scanning, secure data exchange).
• Ensure end-to-end local network security and encryption for device interactions.
• Implement seamless UI/UX that matches Axon's design guidelines.
• Work closely with embedded and backend teams to integrate APIs and device communication workflows.
• Manage platform-specific permissions, deployment, and update flows (App Store & Play Store).
• Write clear documentation and hand-off guidelines for field testing and operations teams.

Qualification required

• Proven experience with native Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift) development
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
• Strong knowledge of REST API integration and JSON data handling
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
