About the Role

One of our long-term US partners is developing a trading product — a mobile and web platform tailored for self-directed traders. The product has been on the market for years, serving a wide range of active users worldwide, and continues to evolve with new functionality.

We are now seeking a Delivery Manager to drive the product’s evolution in close partnership with the client, ensuring both the growth of their business and the expansion of the product’s user base.

As a Delivery Manager you’ll be the champion of our client’s product delivery transformation. You’ll elevate delivery quality, bring order to processes, and ultimately take the client’s business to an entirely new level. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to both the client and our internal teams — introducing new expertise, fresh ideas, and a balanced approach that respects the needs of all sides. Your mission is simple: deliver a reliable, high-quality product that traders can enjoy and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for one or several trading/fintech projects, covering scope, budget, timelines, quality and team health

• Act as a single point of accountability for all delivery-related topics on the account (risks, escalations, ramp-ups/ramp-downs, major releases)

• Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders on both business and technology sides.

• Understand client’s trading and investment workflows (order lifecycle, execution, market data, risk, post-trade) and translate them into clear delivery roadmaps and backlogs

• Define delivery approach and governance model (Agile, hybrid, program-level governance), ensuring alignment with company delivery standards and client’s controls.

• Work with architects and engineering leads to design and deliver robust, scalable and secure solution.

• Ensure the solution and implementation comply with relevant regulatory and security requirements (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR, PCI DSS where applicable, data protection, auditability)

• Manage multi-disciplinary, distributed teams (developers, QA, BA, etc.) across locations, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing

• Plan capacity and staffing: define team structure, required roles and seniority mix, support recruitment and onboarding, drive retention and succession planning

• Set and track delivery KPIs and SLAs (e.g. lead time, release frequency, incident rate, defect leakage, environment stability) and drive continuous improvement based on data

• Proactively identify delivery risks and dependencies, prepare mitigation plans, and manage issues and incidents

• Facilitate key delivery ceremonies: planning and PI planning, backlog refinement, risk reviews, steering committees, release readiness reviews, lessons learned

• Support presales and account growth: contribute to proposals, estimates, statements of work, change requests and discovery/assessment engagements

• Mentor and grow delivery and engineering talent; create a motivating environment with clear goals, feedback and career development paths for the team

Requirements• 5+ years of experience in IT delivery / project / program management for software development, including end-to-end responsibility for scope, budget, timelines and quality

• 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering solutions in trading, capital markets or fintech (e.g. equities, FX, derivatives, electronic trading platforms, brokerage, payment processing, risk or portfolio management)

• Solid understanding of key front-to-back trading processes: order routing, execution, market data, pricing, risk calculation, clearing & settlement, trade reporting

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects in financial markets (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR, MAR, best execution, KYC/AML concepts) and their impact on system design and delivery timelines

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and modern delivery practices: Agile/Scrum/Kanban, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, observability and incident management

• Experience managing distributed, cross-functional teams (50+ FTE desirable) across multiple locations and time zones

• Ability to engage in technical discussions with architects and senior engineers (microservices, APIs, cloud, messaging, data streaming, security), while keeping strong focus on business value

• Proven track record of client-facing leadership: running QBRs, steering committees, managing escalations, negotiating scope/priorities, aligning multiple stakeholder groups

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly understand complex trading flows and break them down into manageable delivery increments

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical topics to business stakeholders and business constraints to engineering teams

• Upper-Intermediate or higher English (B2+/C1), both spoken and written; additional language Russian is a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• High ownership mindset, resilience and ability to perform in a fast-moving trading environment with tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities
