Project Manager

About the Opportunity:

The Project Manager leads technically oriented implementation projects that onboard clients to the organization’s platform, translating approved configuration specifications into executable plans and delivering end-to-end technical activation within established guidelines and timelines, under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager or Project Director. This role supervises and coordinates efforts across product development and engineering, QA, template design, and client delivery teams to meet contracted deliverables and client expectations. The position is suited for candidates with prior experience as a project manager in a marketing agency or product development setting, specifically in client-facing roles. The Project Manager reports to the Project Director of onboarding and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical implementation plan and schedule for assigned client onboardings, managing scope, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional handoffs from specification validation through launch approval.

• Monitor financial, resource, and quality status of assigned projects, recommend course corrections, and provide project health updates to client engagement leadership.

• Translate approved specifications into Jira tickets and maintain the integrated master timeline in BigPicture on Jira; track progress, identify risks, and manage decision logs and approvals with stakeholders.

• Plan and coordinate technical QA, integrated end-to-end testing, and post-launch regression testing with engineering and QA leads; manage UAT readiness and sign-offs.

• Lead kick-off and status meetings with internal teams and ensure communication with all stakeholders at each project stage.

• Communicate project status to the Account Manager, Client Partnership Lead, and other stakeholders, identifying and informing of perceived risks.

• Monitor requirements and establish plans to resolve scope creep, revenue loss, or efficiency issues.

• Track lessons learned and participate in project retrospectives.

• Support existing processes and identify potential improvements for PMO leadership.

Requirements:

• Experience working with product development and engineering resources, with a basic understanding of deliverables and processes.

• Strong technical acumen with the ability to foresee and resolve technical conflicts.

• Working knowledge of SDLC and delivery methodologies such as Agile and iterative planning; experience managing builds and integrated QA for complex platform solutions.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in changing environments, managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets.

• Adaptability and effective delegation skills.

• Proven project management experience including timeline development, trafficking, risk management, and quality assurance/control protocols.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and solution orientation.

• Self-motivated with effective decision-making skills.

• Strong planning, organizational, and detail orientation.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and project planning software such as MS Project.

• Experience with Jira, BigPicture, Teams, and/or SharePoint is a plus.

• 2-5 years of client and project management experience with an interactive agency in a client-facing role.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree preferred.

• Ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and on a computer.
