Product Owner - Courts

About the Opportunity:

This organization is a technology-driven software application company specializing in enterprise management software solutions for the Private and Semi-private Club, Foodservices, Construction, Metal Service Centers, Moving & Storage, and Attractions & Leisure, Fitness & Sports industries. With multiple respected brands serving independent vertical markets, the organization supports over 8000 customers worldwide across 15 countries. The Product Owner - Courts role involves leading internal product projects, managing product lifecycle activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver and optimize software solutions for the private club sector.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee product development from ideation through deployment

• Ensure timely, on-budget product launches meeting customer expectations

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends

• Prioritize features aligned with strategic goals for the product roadmap

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments for product success

• Actively participate in sprint planning meetings

• Create Product Requirements Documents with prioritized features and justifications

• Design wireframe mockups for product enhancements and new screens

• Manage QA resources to meet user expectations and address bugs and enhancements

• Run beta and pilot programs; enlist, train, and collaborate with clients

• Write internal and external product release notes and agreement language for new products

• Continuously monitor and optimize product competitiveness and customer satisfaction

• Represent the product at tradeshows, webinars, demos, and client site visits

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years experience as Product Owner, Manager, or Analyst

• Familiarity with the private club industry

• Clear and concise communication of product vision and progress; comfortable with webinars

• Ability to balance client and business needs effectively

• Skill in translating user and business requirements into detailed specifications

• Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving

• Evidence-based decision-making and transparent prioritization

• Ability to say “no” with clear explanations to stakeholders

• Proven track record of defining and launching products

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Technical background and software product management experience

• Understanding of UI and UX principles

• Teamwork and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

• Experience working with external partners and assessing integrations

• Self-starter with entrepreneurial work style

• Excellent organizational skills

• Effective collaboration with designers and engineers

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to tactfully communicate progress to senior management

• User advocacy and understanding of user motivations

• Adaptability to change and composure under pressure
