Lead Full Stack Developer

About the Opportunity:

The organization seeks a Lead Full Stack Developer (Individual Contributor) to design and deliver scalable software solutions. The role involves hands-on development and maintenance of applications, services, and databases, ensuring performance, security, and reliability. The developer will influence technical direction, contribute to Agile/Scrum practices, and support cross-functional collaboration without managing direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of complex projects, ensuring high-quality design, implementation, and delivery

• Design and deliver scalable software solutions using modern SDLC practices

• Evaluate feasibility of requirements and solutions through structured analysis

• Define system specifications, standards, and implement reliable programming solutions

• Create and maintain clear documentation, diagrams, and well-structured code

• Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending process enhancements

• Monitor and report on development and service issues to support continuous improvement

• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply relevant innovations to projects

• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to align on goals, requirements, and progress

• Participate in regular check-ins and design discussions to ensure shared understanding

• Share expertise through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer

• 3+ years of experience owning or leading complex projects as a senior individual contributor

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular

• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java with relevant frameworks

• Strong experience with REST and GraphQL APIs (design and implementation)

• Proficient in SQL and familiar with DBMS technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB) and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and related services (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, BigQuery, Dataplex, container orchestration)

• Experience working with Nginx or Apache on Linux environments

• Ability to implement responsive UIs from detailed designs for web and mobile

• Experience with Git workflows and version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for functionality, performance, and security

• Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and tools (Airbyte, Airflow, DBT)

• Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects in parallel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong documentation practices (code, diagrams, design decisions)

• High attention to detail with a process-oriented, proactive mindset

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in an Agile team environment

• Passion for quality delivery and continuous improvement

• Must be a US citizen

• Fully functional and up-to-date computer, willing to install company-provided endpoint protection

• Willingness to undergo character reference checks and submit documents for application processing

• Willingness to install and use a time tracker app as part of daily work activities

• Willingness to work U.S. Pacific business hours

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating ERP/CRM/HRMS platforms and ETL/ELT tools: Airbyte, NetSuite, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, ADP

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Knowledge of current AI trends and ability to integrate with AI technology partners
