Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Information Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects. This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful implementation of the ISO 19650 Information Management framework, driving best practice in digital delivery, BIM, GIS and Common Data Environment (CDE) adoption across complex project environments.

The position will work closely with Digital & Information Management leadership, project delivery teams, suppliers and client stakeholders to ensure consistent, compliant and efficient information management throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is remote with regular travel to project offices in Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds and London.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage project information management processes in line with ISO 19650
• Ensure compliant use of Common Data Environment (CDE) systems across all project packages
• Oversee development and management of BEP, MIDP, TIDP and EIR
• Support rollout and adoption of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), SharePoint and GIS platforms
• Manage project BIM, GIS and information delivery resources
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and client teams to ensure information requirements are met
• Review and assure project information deliverables against client standards
• Support digital risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance, training and support to project teams on information management processes
• Participate in project governance, reporting and assurance activities

Requirements

Essential

• Significant experience as Project Information Manager / BIM Manager / Information Manager
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 / BS1192
• Experience working on large infrastructure, energy, utilities or engineering projects
• Proven experience managing Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
• Experience with ACC / Autodesk Construction Cloud / SharePoint / BIM / GIS
• Experience producing and managing BEP, MIDP, TIDP, EIR
• Understanding of COBie, IFC and asset data requirements
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in complex, multi-contractor environments

Desirable

• Experience within energy transmission / utilities / offshore / infrastructure
• Knowledge of asset data and operational information requirements
• Experience working on client-side or major programmes
