Senior Convex / Backend Developer (Fully Remote)

Do you want to spend hours on end solving complex problems?

We’re hiring a senior convex focused backend developer to help build and scale ProLine. This role is for someone who loves getting really deep into the weeds with weird problems, making really nice clean code, and making systems work elegantly.

Core Stack:

• Convex
• React
• WorkOS
• Postgres

Key Responsibilities include:

• Design clean, scalable schemas, queries, mutations, and actions
• Improve performance, security, and reliability

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Convex OR ability to demonstrate applicable in depth backend knowledge and an appetite for learning. Convex has a lot of quirks.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and real-time applications
• Experience shipping production software
• Ability to work independently and make thoughtful technical tradeoffs
• This is a senior role for someone who can take ownership, move quickly, and help shape ProLine’s technical foundation.

Remote work:

Unlike some jobs, this one is actually fully remote, you can be anywhere in the world unless there is an embargo with the USA since ProLine is an American company.

Salary Range: Competitive salary (125k-150k)
