Senior Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·     - Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java

·     - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams

·     - Build features for product discovery, checkout, payments, and user engagement

·     - Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs

·     - Ensure performance, scalability, and code quality

·     - Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

·     - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

·     - Improve application architecture and development practices

Required Skills

·     - 5+ years of Android development experience

·     - Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

·     - Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components

·     - Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON

·     - Experience with Git or similar version control systems

·     - Understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean)

·     - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

·     - Strong Vibe coding skills with various LLM models (Copilot, Codex, etc.)

Preferred Skills

·     - Experience with consumer-facing mobile applications

·     - Preferred experience in eCommerce / Retail domain

·     - Preferred experience working in Micro pod (small agile squad) model

·     - Familiarity with analytics tools and CI/CD pipelines

·     - Experience with A/B testing and personalization features

Soft Skills

·     - Strong communication and collaboration skills

·     - Ability to work in fast-paced agile environments
