Full-Stack Developer

Nova Astro is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Sculoo project, an EdTech platform revolutionizing student behavior tracking and communication. This role involves building both the student-facing app and the admin dashboard used by teachers, parents, and school administrators.

You’ll work on improving front-end UX/UI workflows and integrating complex back-end functionality like data visualization, user roles, and AI-driven summaries. This is a collaborative, fast-paced opportunity to make a real impact in K–12 education.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance front-end interfaces using React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
• Develop robust APIs and backend systems with Node.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with the product lead and backend/frontend contributors to implement features quickly.
• Integrate AI tools for behavioral analysis and reporting.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and maintainable UI/UX for both student and admin platforms.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React or Next.js)
• Experience working with REST APIs or backend development in Node.js
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database systems (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Understanding of version control using Git (GitHub/GitLab)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in small teams
• Passion for creating user-centered, scalable web applications
