Technical Co-Founder (Senior Full-Stack Engineer) - Stealth FinTech/Productivity Startup

About Us:

Calendar Collab AI is an early-stage, stealth startup on a mission to solve one of the most persistent problems in modern work: finding a time to meet. We are building a smart, intuitive web application that intelligently syncs multiple calendar platforms to find shared availability instantly. We are pre-launch, well-defined, and now seeking a passionate technical co-founder to build the product and own the technology stack.

The Role:

As our first technical hire and a key member of the founding team, you will be responsible for bringing the Calendar Collab AI vision to life. You will architect and build our entire platform from the ground up on Google Cloud Platform, making the critical technology decisions that will shape our future. This is a hands-on role requiring a blend of high-level architectural vision and expert-level coding skills.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and build a scalable, serverless backend on GCP to power our core time-matching algorithm.
• Develop a highly interactive and responsive single-page application for our frontend user experience.
• Lead the integration of multiple third-party APIs, including payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Stablecoin) and calendar services (Calendly, Cal.com, zCal, .ics files).
• Design and manage our cloud infrastructure using best practices (Docker, IaC).
• Own the full product development lifecycle from ideation and development to deployment and maintenance.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience building and scaling web applications.
• An expert in a modern backend language (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go) and a frontend framework (React, Vue, Svelte).
• Experienced with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and serverless technologies like Cloud Run.
• Confident in your ability to integrate complex third-party APIs for payments and data syncing.
• A product-minded builder who is passionate about creating elegant solutions to complex problems.
• An excellent communicator and a true partner who is excited about the ambiguity and impact of an early-stage venture.

Compensation

• This is an early-stage venture, founded in August 2025. There is no initial salary for this position. An equal equity stake of 40% vested over 3 years with a 1 year cliff will be assigned. We will save 20% equity to raise funding for marketing our product. Be prepared to dilute your equity equally with the other founder as needed for fundraising. Once we are generating revenue, we can discuss salary distributions.

Availability

• Please be available to meet in the afternoons/evenings in Central Standard Time (UTC -5:00). We don't need to meet much, but when we do, that's my availability. We can communicate asynchronously through Discord additionally.
• I'd like to bring this product to market within 3 months. It is a deeply technical project! Please be prepared to make a strong commitment to achieve that timeline.
