What’s In It For You
Benefits: Very competitive salary, equity, healthcare, professional development budget, and generous annual leave.
Setup: Remote across Ireland & UK
Impact: Own one of the company's most strategic product areas at a time when software supply chain security is becoming a board-level concern
Ownership: Product vision, strategy, and roadmap across a product area spanning three engineering teams
Progression: Opportunity to shape a growing function and influence the future direction of the business
Why This Role
This company builds critical infrastructure used by engineering teams to control and secure their software supply chains.
The way software is built has changed dramatically over the last few years. AI-generated code, growing dependency chains, software provenance, and supply chain attacks have made trust and security one of the biggest challenges facing engineering organisations today.
This role sits right in the middle of that.
They're looking for someone who can bring genuine expertise in software delivery, DevOps, developer tooling, platform engineering, or software supply chain security and help shape the future of one of their most important product areas.
This isn't a traditional Group Product Manager role.
It's better suited to someone operating at Senior, Lead, or Principal Product Manager level who still enjoys being hands-on but is ready to take on broader leadership responsibilities.
What They Need Help With
You'll be responsible for the product vision and direction across a software supply chain security product area that currently spans two engineering teams and will soon grow to three.
Part of the role is strategic.
Part of it is customer-facing.
Part of it is leadership.
You'll:
- Own the roadmap and product direction for a key area of the business
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand problems and shape solutions
- Help establish the company's position in a rapidly evolving market
- Partner closely with engineering leadership on strategy and execution
- Coach and develop an existing Product Manager
- Bring alignment across multiple squads working on related problems
This is a role for someone who wants to shape an emerging category, not just deliver features.
What They're Looking For
- Strong product management experience within developer tools, DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, or software delivery
- Deep understanding of how software moves from source code to production
- Experience working with products involving CI/CD, artifact management, package management, software supply chains, developer platforms, or adjacent areas
- Experience setting product strategy, not just executing roadmaps
- Comfortable engaging with senior engineering stakeholders and enterprise customers
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing Product Managers
- Someone who enjoys operating in complex technical domains
Particular interest in people who have worked with:
- Software supply chain security
- Artifact repositories
- Developer platforms
- Build infrastructure
- Dependency management
- Container security
- Developer experience products
Experience from companies building developer infrastructure products would be especially relevant.
The Culture
The product team is small, experienced, and takes product management seriously.
There's a strong focus on understanding problems properly, working closely with customers, and making thoughtful decisions rather than simply shipping features.
Good fit for someone who enjoys technical products, likes going deep into a domain, and wants the opportunity to influence both products and people.
