Your Impact & Must Have Experience
- Own the architecture and delivery of a next-gen event/venue platform.
- Drive early prototype iterations to validate and refine product vision.

We’re looking for folks who:
- Is able to self-manage development tools, environments & collaborate with others (athletes, fitness enthusiasts, team-sport background, and veterans highly encouraged to apply)
- Has expert-level React skills with deep knowledge of hooks, context, Redux, React Router, and component architecture, along with experience building real-time, data-driven applications.
- The ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment with minimal infrastructure or provided resources.
- Knows how to collaborate via Google, Trello, Figma, recurring meetings,
Important Considerations:
- This role requires candidates to provide their own hardware, software licenses, and development environment for prototyping and delivery.
- Compensation is equity-only with meaningful ownership in the future company spin-out; profit-sharing arrangements may be negotiated upon commercialization.
- Ideal candidates are self-starters motivated by ownership and long-term upside, not short-term salary.
- This is ideal as a side-project, and potential future full-time employment, or additional source of income for you.
We're expecting you will have (candidate-provided, or similar alternatives):
Development Tools & Environments:
- Modern development workstation (macOS, Windows, or Linux) capable of running React development environment and supporting containerization or virtualization if needed
- IDE/text editor such as Visual Studio Code, WebStorm, or equivalent
- Node.js and npm/yarn package managers
- Git for version control (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket repository experience)
- Docker for containerization (if applicable)
Frontend & UI Frameworks:
- React.js and ecosystem tooling (Redux, React Router, Hooks, Context API)
- CSS-in-JS tools or preprocessors like Styled Components, Sass, or Tailwind CSS
API & Backend Communication:
- RESTful APIs, GraphQL experience for backend interaction
- WebSocket or real-time data streaming frameworks (e.g., Socket.IO)
Cloud & Deployment:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (helpful if deployments or serverless functions are part of the stack)
- CI/CD pipelines/tools knowledge (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.)
Mapping & Geospatial Tools:
- Experience with Google Maps API, Mapbox, or similar geospatial libraries
Gamification & Analytics:
- Tools or libraries to implement gamification features
- Analytics platforms for user engagement tracking (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
