We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our growing cybersecurity team. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting the organization’s data, networks, and systems from cyber threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents to ensure the highest levels of security across the organization. If you have a deep understanding of cybersecurity, are proactive in identifying risks, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions and infrastructure to protect company data and assets.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct incident response planning and forensic investigations to understand and recover from security breaches.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure software development practices, including code reviews, threat modeling, and secure architecture design.
  • Oversee network security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools.
  • Conduct regular audits and continuous monitoring of internal and external systems for security issues and compliance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively defend against evolving cyber threats.
  • Mentor and train junior security engineers, providing guidance on security best practices and tools.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (DevOps, IT, Legal, etc.) to ensure security is embedded in all aspects of the organization’s infrastructure and operations.
  • Develop and execute security awareness programs for employees, ensuring they are educated on the latest security threats and best practices.
  • Ensure data encryption, access controls, and secure network architecture to safeguard sensitive information.

✅ Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on senior-level security management.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and risk assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
  • Strong expertise in threat modeling, incident response, and forensic investigation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and securing cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Proficient with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and security tooling.
  • Strong understanding of encryption techniques, secure protocols, and identity management systems.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, LogRhythm).
  • Ability to analyze and mitigate advanced persistent threats (APTs) and other sophisticated cyber-attacks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading security initiatives and incident response activities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.

🌟 What We Offer:

  • A challenging and rewarding environment where you can lead security initiatives and make an impact.
  • Opportunities for career growth and development within the cybersecurity field.
  • A collaborative and supportive team that values security innovation and best practices.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Access to the latest security tools and technologies to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
  • Flexible working hours and remote work options.
  • Training and certification support to help you stay current with the latest in cybersecurity.
