Project Manager (Multiple Contract Opportunities | M&A Programme)

MRJ Recruitment have been engaged exclusively by a leading European eCommerce Group who are currently hiring multiple Project Managers to join a high-profile M&A migration programme delivering several critical technology projects.

What are the roles and what's the programme?

You’ll play a key role in planning and driving complex change across enterprise systems, partnering with stakeholders across technology and the business to ensure seamless transitions, minimal disruption, and measurable outcomes.

This is an opportunity to work on a varied portfolio, including HCM migration to a new cloud-based HR & Payroll platform, application migration from legacy servers to AWS, application modernisation, and large-scale data migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects within a wider M&A migration programme
• Own project planning, governance, RAID management, scope, budget, and timeline control
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams (HCM, apps migration, modernisation, data migration)
• Drive clear communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement at all levels
• Ensure appropriate change control, documentation, and delivery best practice
• Support cutover planning and go-live readiness to ensure smooth transitions and business continuity
• Identify risks early and implement pragmatic mitigation plans

People Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects or programmes, ideally in transformation or M&A environments with 2000+ user base
• Strong background in one or more of the following areas:

-- Application modernisation initiatives-- Data migration projects (planning, governance, quality, cutover)-- HCM/HR & Payroll platform migration (cloud-based implementations preferred)-- Application migration from legacy servers / datacentres to AWS cloud

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align multiple teams
• Solid understanding of delivery governance, project controls, and reporting
• Comfortable working at pace across multiple initiatives and shifting priorities
• Experience working with third-party vendors and internal delivery teams
