Matchez is building something new in the Recruitment Tech space, a market that’s overdue for innovation. The details are confidential for now (we’re in stealth mode), but if you’re curious, ambitious, and the right fit, we’ll share more once an NDA is in place.

This is an equity-only role at the moment, ideal for someone excited by building a venture from the ground up rather than joining a finished company.

We’re a few months into the journey, which means the product is evolving quickly. Some things are working. Some things are experiments. Some things we haven’t discovered yet.

That’s exactly why we’re now looking for a Product Manager to join the team.

This is not a role where you inherit a tidy roadmap and run sprint ceremonies. It’s a role for someone who can help shape what the product becomes.

You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and the founders to turn ideas, observations, and data into features that genuinely improve how the platform works.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll sit at the intersection of product thinking, user behaviour, and commercial outcomes.

That means:

• Writing product specs and translating ideas into clear requirements

• Reviewing Figma wireframes and collaborating closely with designers

• Working directly with developers to clarify features and edge cases

• Defining the right metrics to understand how the platform is performing

• Working with analytics and behavioural data to inform product decisions

• Identifying opportunities to improve engagement, experience, and platform value

• Connecting product decisions to revenue and retention

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be in the details, not just the slides.

Commercially aware

You understand that product decisions ultimately affect revenue, customer value, and business sustainability.

Comfortable with ambiguity

Startups don’t come with instruction manuals. You’re comfortable working with incomplete information and figuring things out as you go.

Hands-on and practical

You’re happy writing specs, reviewing wireframes, and working closely with engineers to make sure things actually ship.

Data literate

You know how to define meaningful metrics, interpret product data, and make evidence-based decisions.

Imaginative

You can see beyond the current product and help articulate what Matchez could become over time.
