Lecturio has been developing and publishing Android applications since 2013. The main applications serve our products Lecturio Medical Education and Lecturio Nursing. Furthermore, Lecturio has published over 100 white label applications for various companies and educational institutions around the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Android developer (all genders) to join our team and drive the continued evolution of our Android applications through leadership and technical expertise.

Senior Android Developer / Tech Lead (all genders)Your tasks

• Develop, extend, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
• Take ownership of end-to-end implementation - from requirement analysis and technical planning to delivery and integration within existing architectures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to unify iOS and Android apps into a shared Kotlin Multiplatform codebase.
• Integrate new features and modules into a well-structured, modular architecture while ensuring backward compatibility and performance stability.
• Work with RESTful APIs (JSON) and modern communication frameworks such as Ktor and Coroutines to ensure smooth client–server interaction.
• Participate actively in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure reliable communication and coordination through regular meetings and asynchronous channels.
• Optionally, take a leading role in guiding a small development team, mentoring junior developers, and managing technical project deliverables.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android development with deep expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and related tools (IDE, frameworks, paradigms).
• Proven experience with Jetpack Compose, Ktor + Coroutines, and JSON-based REST APIs.
• Strong practical experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development or strong motivation to specialize in this area.
• Demonstrated ability to think independently, plan technical solutions, and align implementation with broader architectural goals.
• Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal - to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
• A team-oriented mindset, open to feedback, and committed to a constructive, respectful exchange of ideas.
• High sense of accountability with a proactive approach to timelines, estimates, and ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) is a strong plus.
• Leadership potential - ability to coordinate tasks, mentor peers, and drive small-scale technical initiatives when required.
