Senior Software Engineer - Android

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Android to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $165,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and enhancement of the Android app features
• Enhance networking, analytics, experiments, and modular app structure
• Ensure a delightful user experience in the main feed and post creation tools
• Utilize AI tools to optimize productivity and creativity in work processes
• Maintain high-quality standards by thoroughly testing code before deployment
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent expertise
• Track record of delivering polished and bug-free features
• Mentorship experience for junior engineers to uplift engineering culture
• Proactive and adaptable with a strong desire for improvement across the app
• Experience in testing code using frameworks like JUnit, MockK, and Roborazzi
