Senior Frontend Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will own the technical execution of frontend initiatives from early requirements through production release, with a focus on delivering scalable, maintainable user experiences. You will help shape architecture decisions for modern web applications, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Backend engineering teams to balance speed, quality, and long-term platform health. The position also involves improving shared frontend systems, reducing technical debt, and helping the organization respond effectively to production issues.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical execution of small to medium initiatives, from shaping requirements to production release.
• Translate product goals into scalable frontend architecture decisions, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the evolution of React and Electron-based applications, improving shared libraries and system design.
• Identify risks and validate assumptions in ambiguous problem spaces to de-risk solutions before they impact delivery.
• Reduce technical debt and improve code quality and performance to ensure long-term health of the codebase.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend engineers on trade-offs and non-functional requirements.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues, contributing to observability and incident response.
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years building modern web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• 3+ years working with React or a similar modern frontend framework.
• Experience leading technical implementation of production features end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience consuming and influencing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with debugging complex production issues.
• Experience writing automated tests, including unit, integration, and E2E tests.
