Senior Engineering Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $230,000 – $265,000 annually Responsibilities

• Shepherd multi-quarter plans that link technical work with organizational goals
• Act as a key voice in prioritization and product strategy to clarify direction for engineers
• Oversee team hiring strategy and promote the company’s mission and culture during recruitment
• Foster an environment of psychological safety to encourage open communication and dissent
• Lead discussions on technical trade-offs, focusing on impact and operational effectiveness
• Guide the adoption of AI best practices while maintaining accountability for code quality

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience leading product engineering teams with significant user impact
• Strong product instincts with the ability to drive results through cross-functional work
• Expertise in crafting high-quality user-facing products, ideally in consumer or SaaS domains
• Demonstrated ability to build inclusive, high-trust team cultures
• Robust technical and product judgement to guide engineering decisions and trade-offs
