Engineering Manager, AI

For our client, we are seeking an Engineering Manager AI to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $187,500 – $234,500 annually Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers to build a culture of technical excellence and ownership
• Own and execute the AI Platform roadmap, balancing immediate product needs with future investments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance AI quality metrics and evaluation processes
• Develop AI evaluation infrastructure and developer tools to support AI product teams
• Drive decisions that enhance the scalability and reliability of the AI Platform for engineering agility
• Build influential partnerships to integrate AI evaluations as a core capability across the organization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with a focus on AI and infrastructure development
• Strong technical expertise in AI infrastructure and large language models with experience in SaaS products
• Proven track record of executing complex, cross-functional initiatives in AI development
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills essential for fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated leadership style emphasizing curiosity, humility, and continuous learning
