Java Documentum Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Sparta, NJ that is seeking a Java Documentum Developer - Enterprise Content & Integration for a 6 month role. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with Documentum experience to join our enterprise application team. This role focuses on developing scalable Java-based solutions that integrate with content management systems while supporting modernization of legacy platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications integrating with Documentum and other enterprise systems
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for secure and efficient data exchange
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams to modernize workflows
• Support Documentum configurations, customizations, and upgrades
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of Java development (Java 8+, Spring Boot or similar)
• 2+ years of experience with Documentum (D2, xCP, Webtop, REST Services)
• Strong ECM knowledge and experience with SQL, XML, JSON
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Documentum REST Services and front-end integration experience
• Enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Kafka)
