A leading global commerce technology company is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to help build SDKs, tools, and applications that power millions of secure payment transactions. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll solve complex problems, build next-generation products, and work with a world-class team—while contributing remotely from anywhere in the approved U.S. states.

What You’ll Do

· Design, develop, and enhance advanced Android applications, libraries, and SDKs

· Improve performance and reliability of existing software

· Debug complex issues using deep knowledge of Android and Kotlin

· Participate in project teams, planning, estimates, and architecture discussions

· Lead and contribute to code reviews

· Implement features aligned with product and security requirements

· Integrate with RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)

Required Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field

· 3+ years of Android development experience (apps or libraries)

· 3+ years of Kotlin experience

· Strong object-oriented and multithreaded programming skills

· Ability to debug and troubleshoot through manual/static code analysis

· Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML

· Familiarity with Git

· Excellent communication and multitasking skills

Preferred Skills

· Kotlin Multiplatform

· Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito/MockK, Roboelectric)

· USB/Bluetooth/TCP-IP device communication

· Agile/Scrum environment experience

· Experience producing AARs/JARs

· Knowledge of data security, encryption, compliance, and privacy standards
