This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the United States. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and scalable backend services using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS technologies. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and engineering design to deployment and support, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and observable solutions. Collaborating within an agile team, you will work with product and engineering leaders to architect solutions, establish best practices, and adopt emerging technologies. You will have opportunities to influence architecture, improve performance, and optimize systems used by a large user base. Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack AWS Cloud solutions, including modern web applications, REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and event-driven applications using Node.js and serverless technologies
  • Create technical documentation, such as flow diagrams and design specifications
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code (CDK) and automate CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous feature delivery
  • Implement observability solutions to monitor system health, log events, and analyze user activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code following best practices, design patterns, and thorough testing and review processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, performance, and user experience, while mitigating technical risks
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to inform innovative solutions and architecture strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience, with 5-6 years in senior-level roles
  • Strong full-stack development experience (3-5 years) with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and related tools
  • Proactive, ownership-driven approach with the ability to manage complex issues independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
  • Preferred: Java experience, AWS CDK or CloudFormation, and automation testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright)
  • Mission-driven mindset, curiosity for emerging technologies, and ability to leverage AI tools in development workflows
