This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-impact engineering organization that powers the full consumer acquisition funnel—from marketing website and lead generation through telesales, ecommerce, and onboarding. You will manage multiple engineering teams across distributed locations, shaping systems that drive millions in revenue annually. The position blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic vision, overseeing architecture, platform performance, and AI-driven automation. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and executive leadership to optimize acquisition, conversion, and onboarding systems. Accountabilities As the Director of Engineering, you will lead teams, ship impactful features, and ensure the organization’s technical and business goals are met:

  • Lead multiple engineering squads and distributed teams across the US, Canada, and LATAM, ensuring high performance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee AI-powered sales automation systems, including LLM-based outbound agents, self-service tools, and internal telesales platforms.
  • Drive the development of marketing, lead generation, ecommerce, and onboarding systems to optimize conversion and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and executive leadership to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance during peak traffic periods, with hands-on involvement in architecture, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
  • Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation.
  • Simplify and modernize platforms while balancing immediate business needs with long-term technical strategy.

Requirements The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership in high-growth, AI-driven environments:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years leading engineering teams.
  • Experience managing multiple squads or organizations of 15+ engineers across remote or distributed teams.
  • Hands-on expertise in agentic/LLM coding and AI-native tools (e.g., Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Make.com, n8n, Firecrawl, Supabase, Bolt, Netlify, Vercel).
  • Track record of shipping B2C or SaaS products at scale, with deep experience in web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to balance technical excellence with business delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with sales tools, CRM, or marketing technology preferred.
  • Skilled in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), event-driven architecture, and high-traffic consumer platforms.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, partnering effectively with Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
